I liked a lot this story cause it shows how even the worst enemies, during an "emergency" are capable of helping each other, and how sometimes the humans are so "closed" from their minds, that they always think they're the only ones that are right and everybody else is wrong, but in this story we can also see how two different people that hated each other, at the end, became friends and could accept they were wrong, eventhough this all happened because of a falling tree.
I really liked this story mainly because the main theme was "love". Henry loved his wife so mmuch, that it can be said that his love was a "never-ending" feeling for her. "One word frees us of all the weight and pain of life: that word is love." (Henry). He had such a great painafter his wife's death, that he in fact blocked it out his mind and started to believe she was still there and still loved him. What I really liked about the story is that it shows us how sometimes love can be stronger than death.
For me, Literature is, in fact, the art of writing words, cause, any person can write wathever it comes to his mind, and though Literature also is formed by the author's feelings, opinions and thoughts, the difference between these tho things is that Literature is called art, and most of the times, art is linked to "beauty" and though we want it or not, it is also linked to the acceptance of the society.
